Turn on your television
Watch the Real World as it unfolds before your eyes.
Turn on and tune in as your neighbor just got hit during a drive-by.
Focus the screen, adjust the color to see racism at its worse;
Pop open a can, kick your feet up, and suck one down to quince your thirst.
Adjust your horizontal and vertical flow;
This isn’t the 60’s or 70’s; it’s an all New Millennium show.
Where actors, pop stars, b’ players on trial and the Terminator runs the state;
US goes to war and hand Saddam his next fate.
This is live and it’s in your face;
So you better keep up, before you lose this race
To see who’s really a bad boy, role model, or just hard to the core;
Life as we view it, won’t be the same anymore.
Turn on your television,
Watch the Real World as it unfolds before your eyes;
As other countries promises US a big surprise.
With terrorist threats, terrorist threats, and terrorist threats;
Are you scared yet?
So turn on your television and watch the Real World as it unfolds before your eyes;
Where marriages last a day and the rest is just a lie.
Turn on and tune in as the world debates over nuclear arms;
Whose to say who’s at fault as politicians greases each others palms.
We look to the heavens for an answer in hopes to stop this madness;
How can we blame Him for turning His back with such sadness.
So wake up, get a grip, and feel this flow;
Before you know it, it’s the end of the show.

Throughout the crossroads in life, people often find themselves looking back to what brought them to a certain place and time. They sit, think, reflect and realize that the choices they made were not choices at all; but rather a grand design. The design allows us to see what would, could, and did happen to bring us to this point and time.
